ABOUT THE ROLE

Brevard SEM is a Melbourne digital marketing agency. We build websites for local, national, and international clients. Every site has a job: load fast, convert visitors, and get found in Google, ChatGPT, and Gemini.

We are in a period of fast growth. New clients, bigger accounts, and more work than our current team can cover. This role exists because of that, and we are hiring people who want to be here for the long run and grow into bigger roles as the company does.

You will sit next to our SEO, paid media, and creative team, not behind a ticket queue. You get a business goal and figure out how to build it.You will learn from our veteran operator team! Grow your development skills with one on one coaching and creativity sessions.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

- Build and maintain custom WordPress, Shopify, and WooCommerce sites, from development through launch

- Build landing pages around campaign goals

- Handle hosting, DNS, SSL, migrations, staging, and deployments

- Set up forms, GA4, GTM, pixels, CRM, and API integrations

- Improve page speed and Core Web Vitals

- Implement technical SEO and structured data with our SEO team

- Fix what breaks: plugins, themes, apps, forms, integrations

- Keep several projects moving and flag problems early

YOUR FIRST 90 DAYS

- Take over our active client sites and learn how we build

- Ship your first landing page from brief to launch

- Run a speed and technical audit on our top client sites

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

- Professional WordPress experience, including custom themes and plugins (required)

- Shopify and WooCommerce experience (required)

- Solid HTML, CSS, and working JavaScript

- Mobile-first builds and launch experience

- Someone who diagnoses problems without hand-holding

- Clear communication with marketers and clients

- Able to work on-site in Melbourne

HELPFUL TO HAVE

Next.js or React, GitHub, schema markup, CRO, accessibility, AI-assisted development

BONUS

Media production and creation: photo, video, editing (Premiere, Lightroom), short-form content. Tell us if you do it. It is not required.
