G5 Games is a Swedish developer and publisher of mobile games played by over 250 million people worldwide. We create large-scale projects, such as Sherlock, Hidden City®, Jewels of Rome®, and continuously improve their technical aspects.

We are currently looking for an experienced Freelance HTML5 Developer (Playable Ads) to create engaging and interactive playable ads for mobile games.

What You Will Work On:

1. Create 2D playable ads based on technical specifications and provided references.
2. Develop 3D playable ads when required by project needs and supported by relevant expertise.
3. Implement gameplay mechanics, user interfaces, animations, visual effects, and audio elements.
4. Optimize performance, loading speed, and build size of ad creatives.
5. Adapt playable ads to the requirements of various advertising networks.
6. Identify and fix issues while implementing necessary improvements throughout the development process.
7. Estimate task timelines and meet agreed deadlines.
8. Maintain and enhance existing playable ads projects.
9. Participate in technical discussions and propose effective solutions for implementation.

What We Expect:

1. Have at least 1 year of commercial experience developing playable ads.
2. Have experience working in GameDev, AdTech, or digital marketing environments.
3. Be proficient in JavaScript and/or TypeScript.
4. Have hands-on experience with HTML5 and CSS3.
5. Have experience working with game engines and frameworks, including Cocos Creator (preferred), Phaser 3, or PixiJS.
6. Have experience delivering playable ads through the full development lifecycle.
7. Understand performance optimization techniques and build size reduction best practices.
8. Be confident using Git in day-to-day development.
9. Have experience leveraging AI tools to accelerate development and improve productivity.

Would Be a Plus:

1. Understanding of MRAID and experience working with advertising networks such as AppLovin, Unity Ads, Google Ads, ironSource, and others.
