We are a fast-growing biomarker and precision diagnostics startup working on fluid-based profiling for neuroinflammation and CNS-related biology. Our lab spans both research-use-only (RUO) assay development and CLIA-aligned clinical workflows, with a strong focus on quality, speed, and reproducibility.

Role Summary

We are hiring a hands-on Immunoassay Technician to run ELISA-based assays, process samples from various specimens including human and mouse, and help scale high-throughput biomarker operations. This is a startup role: ownership, pace, and adaptability matter. CLIA/COLA required

Key Responsibilities

· Execute ELISA-based assays end-to-end (standards, controls, incubation, washing, detection)

· Prepare reagents, dilution series, and QC materials with precision

· Operate plate washers/readers; maintain timing-critical workflow discipline

· Process samples: centrifugation, plasma/serum separation, aliquoting

· Maintain cold-chain integrity and strict sample traceability

· Monitor assay QC (standard curves, CVs, acceptance criteria)

· Troubleshoot common assay failures (edge effects, high background, low signal)

· Support transfer onto automated immunoassay platforms (training provided)

· General lab and inventory management

Core Lab Competence (Required)

· Strong aseptic technique, contamination control, sample integrity discipline

· Excellent pipetting accuracy and GLP-grade documentation

· High personal ownership of run quality and repeatability

Troubleshooting & Maintenance

· Diagnose assay drift, control failures, high CVs

· Routine instrument upkeep: cleaning cycles, consumables, error logging

· Fast escalation and clear communication in a lean team

Data & Quality Systems

· Standard curve interpretation, LoD/LoQ fundamentals

· Familiarity with LIMS and audit-ready record keeping

· SOP adherence, deviations, CLIA/COLA awareness

· Chain-of-custody discipline across RUO + clinical sample environments

· Closely work with Bioinformatics and Analytics team

Preferred

· Biomarker panel experience (cytokines, inflammation, neuro/CNS markers)

· Exposure to multiplex or ultra-sensitive platforms (Simoa/Olink)

· Startup lab experience: flexible, delivery-focused

· Good work ethic and attention to detail.
