The candidate will work with a group of motivated talents. The main responsibility is to operate, maintain, and develop NGS algorithms/pipelines to achieve specific goals. This role requires strong programming skills and experience with NGS analysis tools.

Requirements:

• B.S. in Bioinformatics or related field with 0-2 year experience.
• Good communication skills and teamwork ethics
• Relevant experience analyzing NGS sequencing data
• Proficiency in Unix/Linux scripting
• Strong programming skills in Python. Perl, and R. Java and JavaScript familiarity is a plus.
• Experience in working with relational database, such as PostgreSQL, MySQL
• Familiar with version control, such as git
• Proficient with publicly available bioinformatics tools (e.g. BWA, SAMtools, GATK, etc), algorithms, and web tools (e.g. NCBI, UCSC, etc.)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $68,000.00 - $78,000.00 per year
