Mandatory Capabilities

Azure Deployment Stacks: Experience managing large Azure environments across hundreds of subscriptions, including resource management, scope control, and policy enforcement.

Open Policy Agent (OPA) / Policy-as-Code: Ability to create and apply security and compliance policies directly within CI/CD pipelines across large engineering teams.

Sigstore: Hands-on experience with artifact signing, verification, and software supply chain security across distributed engineering environments.

Azure Chaos Studio: Experience testing system reliability through controlled fault injection and failure testing across microservices and cloud-based applications.

Azure Confidential Computing: Experience designing and deploying secure environments for sensitive workloads in highly regulated industries.

SBOM Automation Pipelines: Experience creating automated Software Bill of Materials (SBOM) processes, tracking dependencies, and identifying vulnerabilities within CI/CD workflows.

FluxCD GitOps Platform Engineering: Experience building enterprise GitOps solutions for infrastructure delivery and large-scale AKS cluster management.
Required Experience
- 10+ years of experience in DevOps architecture and cloud platform engineering.
- Experience delivering large-scale solutions for major organizations in finance, healthcare, retail, or technology.
- Hands-on experience with all seven mandatory Capabilities listed above.
- Experience supporting 500+ engineering teams or similarly large platform environments.
- Experience working in regulated industries with strong knowledge of compliance, audits, and security requirements.
- Strong experience designing and managing enterprise Azure DevOps CI/CD platforms.
- Experience with Kubernetes and large-scale AKS environments.
- Strong Infrastructure as Code experience using Terraform and/or Bicep.
- Experience designing DevSecOps architectures with a strong focus on security.
- Experience building secure artifact signing and software supply chain security solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and manage centralized CI/CD platforms for large engineering organizations using Azure DevOps and OPA policy enforcement.
- Design enterprise infrastructure management solutions using Azure Deployment Stacks across multiple Azure subscriptions.
- Build and manage GitOps delivery systems using FluxCD for large AKS environments.
- Lead software supply chain security projects, including Sigstore artifact signing and automated SBOM generation.
- Design secure workload environments using Azure Confidential Computing for regulated and high-security use cases.
- Run system reliability tests across distributed microservices using Azure Chaos Studio.
- Create and maintain DevSecOps standards, governance processes, and security controls across engineering teams.
- Work closely with security, platform, and product engineering teams to align DevOps practices with enterprise compliance requirements.
- Guide senior engineers and establish best practices for GitOps, software supply chain security, and policy-based delivery.
