About the Role

We’re launching Blueprint (just an internal name) - an ambitious initiative to create a first-of-its-kind dataset for mechanical assets, combining OEM manuals, integrations, and real-world sensor data. Blueprint will power intelligent products that save customers time, money, and headaches, and we’re looking for engineers excited to build at this frontier. As a Software Engineer II on the Blueprint team, you’ll work closely with Product and Customer Success to turn unique customer needs into intuitive, scalable features


How you’ll make an impact

  1. Designing, building, testing, and delivering medium-to-large features end-to-end
  2. Writing clean, scalable code with React (and supporting frameworks)
  3. Optimizing user workflows to create a streamlined experience across web and mobile
  4. Integrating with AWS services, third-party APIs, and sensor/SCADA data sources
  5. Identifying risks, proposing improvements, and mentoring peers through reviews
  6. Work closely with data engineers and data scientists to deliver unique value propositions
  7. Helping shape how we build products from a growing proprietary dataset


Requirements

  1. 3+ years of professional software engineering experience
  2. Strong proficiency with React and modern JavaScript/TypeScript
  3. Experience designing and building web applications end-to-end
  4. Familiarity with AWS services (Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, API Gateway, etc.)
  5. Understanding of cloud-based/web technologies, responsive design, and user behavior
  6. Solid experience with Git and collaborative workflows
  7. A passion for writing excellent code and solving complex problems
  8. Detail-oriented with strong troubleshooting and communication skills
  9. Self-starter who can organize, prioritize, and deliver on deadlines

Nice to Have

  1. Experience with SCADA, sensor data, or industrial IoT integrations
  2. Practical understanding of our customer and market
  3. Experience in SaaS or B2B web app development
  4. Node.js / NestJS, PHP/SQL experience
  5. Background in building or scaling systems that rely on data pipelines
