Job Summary:

Seeking a Senior Mainframe Developer with strong experience in COBOL-based enterprise systems. The role involves software development, system analysis, maintenance, and production support within large-scale mainframe environments. The ideal candidate will have deep hands-on expertise in core mainframe technologies and experience working on complex application enhancements and support projects.

Must-have Skills:

• 8–10 years of programming experience
• COBOL
• JCL
• VSAM
• DB2
• CICS
• FILEAID
• SPUFI
• Changeman or Endevor
• Minimum 5 years of IT systems analysis and programming experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)

Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and enhance mainframe applications
• Perform system analysis and translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Support production systems and troubleshoot application issues
• Work with DB2 databases and batch/online processing (CICS/JCL)
• Manage code deployments using version control tools (Changeman/Endevor)
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure system stability and performance
