We are looking for a skilled and motivated web developer to join our team and help build and maintain our website — a dynamic hub for community members, video podcasts, educational content, and more.

The Role:

As a Web Developer, you will play a critical role in developing, enhancing, and maintaining our website and its features. You’ll work across both front-end and back-end to ensure a seamless user experience, implementing secure payment processing, member areas, and delivering engaging content like video podcasts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Website Development: Build, optimize, and maintain a fully functional and responsive website that serves as a resource hub for our community.
• Content Integration: Integrate video podcasts and other multimedia content into the site, ensuring a smooth playback experience across devices.
• Membership Portal: Develop and maintain a secure, user-friendly membership portal for users to sign up, manage accounts, and access exclusive content.
• Security: Implement robust security protocols to safeguard user data, payments, and prevent vulnerabilities.
• Payments: Handle membership payments, recurring billing, and ensure a smooth checkout experience.
• Collaboration: Work with content creators, designers, and other team members to ensure that the site aligns with the movement's vision and goals.
• Ongoing Maintenance: Monitor, troubleshoot, and update the website as needed, ensuring optimal performance and security.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Proficiency in web development technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and server-side languages (PHP, Node.js, etc.)
• Strong experience with database management (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and integrating them with websites.
• Experience with front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js).
• Familiarity with CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress, Drupal) or custom-built content management solutions.
• Knowledge of web security best practices, including encryption, secure authentication, and payment integration (e.g., Stripe, PayPal).
• Experience with e-commerce and membership subscription models.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with remote teams.

Bonus Skills:

• Experience with video podcast hosting platforms or integration.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, etc.) for hosting and scaling.
• UI/UX design skills or an eye for creating user-friendly, visually appealing layouts.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
