Overview

We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and fun Customer Service Social Media Assistant to join our team. This role is fully remote and perfect for someone with experience in customer service, social media, a love for outdoor recreation, and proficiency in office software and systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer support, maintaining accurate records, creating and posting social media content and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations for multiple clients.

Remote Duties

1. Professionally and promptly handle customer calls and emails, maintaining a warm and welcoming tone.
2. Provide excellent customer support by addressing inquiries, offering safety guidance, and resolving issues efficiently.
3. Collaborate with tour guides to answer questions and coordinate guest interactions.
4. Respond to customer reviews promptly, reflecting the company’s fun and engaging personality.
5. Write unique blog content for the company website.
6. Manage basic social media tasks, including creating reels, stories, posts with content obtained by marketing team, posting reels/stories/posts daily and engaging professionally with customers and local businesses.
7. Perform administrative reporting, including running reports, counting reviews, and creating work schedules for tour guides.
8. Prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and maintain high productivity through effective time management.

On-Site Duties* if in a "Hub" area, not required if not local. Hubs include: San Marcos/Austin/Central Texas area, with more coming!

1. Engage with the community by setting up and managing booths at local events, including participating in silent auctions.
2. Manage inventory by replacing, ordering, or repairing damaged equipment.

Qualifications

1. Previous experience in an administrative role preferred.
2. Passion for the outdoors with experience in outdoor recreation preferred.
3. Strong customer support skills, with the ability to handle challenging situations with professionalism.
4. Experience with social media management/creating content
5. Excellent organizational and time management abilities, capable of prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
6. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and professionalism.
7. Hardworking, adaptable, trustworthy, honest, and patient.
8. Bilingual in Spanish is preferred.
9. High school diploma or equivalent required; an associate's or bachelor's degree is preferred.

Notes:

1. The role is a contract based role paid hourly with opportunities for bonuses. Pay starts at $13 per hour
2. Required hours: either: Monday through Friday 5PM CST- 9PM CST or Thursday through Sunday 5PM- 9PM CST (if after 1 month deliverables are met, a flexible schedule can be arranged with only requiring customer support during certain hours, and the rest of the work can be done throughout the week). Days and hours may vary with seasonality and client demand.
3. This position is a 3-month contract with the possibility of extension for a longer term based on performance and fit within the company.

Pay: $13.00 - $17.00 per hour
