Job Description:

The organization operates in the legal education and professional development sector, focusing on family law. It addresses the need for comprehensive, practical training for attorneys and paralegals by developing structured learning programs that enhance legal competence across multiple jurisdictions.


2. About the Opportunity:

The Curriculum Developer is responsible for creating and designing substantive learning content and cohesive training programs that equip legal professionals with the knowledge and frameworks needed for effective practice. This role delivers complete, production-ready educational materials and collaborates with subject matter experts to ensure accuracy and practical relevance.


3. Responsibilities:

• Research, write, and structure training content across legal practice areas, professional skills, and leadership topics.

• Produce scalable learning content packages including scripts, facilitator guides, workbooks, knowledge checks, and job aids.

• Translate complex legal concepts into clear, scenario-based content suitable for varying experience levels.

• Develop realistic case studies and exercises reflecting family law practice.

• Ensure content reflects jurisdictional differences in collaboration with experts.

• Design the structure and learning objectives for multi-module training programs.

• Develop program blueprints and assessment strategies to measure learner progress and effectiveness.

• Collaborate with attorneys and leaders to ensure content accuracy and relevance.

• Provide complete content packages to Learning Experience Designers.

• Review design deliverables for content integrity.

• Update training content based on law changes, policies, and best practices.

• Develop measures to evaluate training effectiveness.

• Analyze assessment data and feedback to inform content revisions.

• Stay informed on developments in family law and adult learning research.


4. Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in curriculum development or instructional content design.

• Exceptional writing and communication skills for diverse audiences.

• Strong understanding of adult learning theories and instructional design frameworks.

• Experience with needs analyses and developing measurable learning objectives.

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.

• Skilled at working with subject matter experts to synthesize complex information.

• Preferred: background in legal education or paralegal studies, familiarity with family law and multi-jurisdictional practice.

• Preferred: experience with scenario-based learning content and LMS platforms.

• Preferred: legal research familiarity and relevant legal qualifications.


5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:
